From childhood, Erik has been fascinated with sound, particularly human sound. He has sung, played musical instruments, and written music all of his life. He has done theatre, musical theatre, opera roles and hundreds of band gigs on guitar, keyboards, drums, bass and vocals. He has traveled to European countries and through the different regions of the United States, having lived in London for four years. He has always been "tuned in" to the accents and inflections of people he has met, and he imitates cartoon and movie characters (human and otherwise).

Erik quickly understands the message of your copy, such that his inflection is appropriate even for "unemotional" copy. On the other hand, if "emotion" is required, Erik can serve up a range of qualities from goofiness, solemnity, grief, elation, and sarcasm to nervousness, jollity, rage, suave, and carefree. These have all applied in his operatic, theatric, and "purely musical" performances.
