I have been doing quite a bit of voice over in the last year. I am the "voice" of 1480 KPHX radio in Phoenix, AZ and I have voiced mostly radio spots. In the past I have done voice overs for other things like video, documentary, etc. I also have been in several films as an actor. I take direction very well and can produce all of my own work which translates to less money for my clients. I am also a musician/singer/songwriter and have written several jingles over the years. I am a one man, one stop shop. I love to perform in one way or another. I have been performing on stage, television, film and radio since I was 14...quite a few years ago.
I have 2 years of college under my belt. I was majoring in music theory at the time. As I mentioned above I have been performing on stage, television, film and radio for quite some time. I have a tremendous amount of "hands on" experience.
I have also had a lot of hands on experience in recording studios. I remember back in the day of 1 inch and 2 inch multi-track tape and the huge multi-track recorders.
In my own studio I have multiple mics from the inexpensive to the very expensive including shock mounted mics. I have a Sennheiser MD421, a Audio Technica AT 2035 and assorted others. I record directly to a PC via an Alesis 8 channel board. I use any one of different softwares (depending on project). I do a ton of video production as well so I have all the software needed for that as well. In summary I have everything needed and I know how to use it.
I've spent years in recording studios and currently work as production manager and the "voice of" for a radio station in Phoenix, AZ.
I am also a song writer/musician. I can play a multitude of instruments and sing for that needed jingle or background music.
