My voiceover work experience
Sugarhill: This was a voiceover job
for a beverage company that is brews its beverage in Harlem. Because of the rich Jazz and music tradition in Harlem I needed to bring across a smoother melodic sound.
Black Hollywood: This was a voiceover job for a party that required me to bring energy across. I needed to catch the listener’s ear, and make them want to be at this event.
Front Row Video: This was a voiceover job for a video store. For this commercial I wanted to come across warm and friendly.
Class Project: I was required to write and record a skit for a class project. I used my regular speaking voice and I developed a character to use for the project.
Various short and independent films: Voice acting is acting. Honing your skills in either aspect can strengthen the other.

Voice Actors Toolkit
In addition to workshops and courses that I have taken I have also honed my voice acting skills in the work force. I worked as a telephone collections agent for two years. The main tool I used to perform my job was my voice.
