About Eric
I have a deep rich speaking voice. For narration it is authoritative and powerful.
For character work my 20 plus years of professional theatre training has helped develop improv skills and a multitude of characters. I can do anything from Wolfman Jack to crusty sour dough prospector. I don't so much mimic as I create a fleshed out character that resembles others you have heard from Dudley Doo Right type to Chumley the Walrus and a myriad in between. As for dialects I can do the Crocodile Hunter, American Southern, various British.
For answering systems the professional tone of voice lends more credibility to company.
My experience in video games has helped me develop many animal and other gutteral sounds.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been in the theatre since gradeschool. Started doing commercials and feature films after college mainly on camera. While a Shakespeare Theatre Company member for 10 years I began doing some voice work for video games and various recorded cd sets from sci-fi to classical literature. Reebok allowed me to see what and how much the voice can make in a very little time in 1989. I have been acting on camera and behind the mic for over 15 years. '89-93 all on hold messaging for client Contacts Influential. Currently appearing in Dry Smoke and Whisper's The Shadowman series on XM Satellite network. Have done numerous voices in several other series as well. Have appeared as many characters on various Area51 Podcasts. Displayed vocal strength in the feature film Men of Honor as my character had to yell " I stole a pie" thru out entire scene. Will be seen and heard in upcoming feature Sasquatch Dumpling Gang from creators of Napolean Dynamite. Will be happy to email resume upon request. B.A. in Theatre and Business Management from University of Portland '89. 1996 Intensive with Shakespeare and Company in Bennington Vermont: How to fully incorporate voice in all areas of acting. Studied with Dallas McKennon the voice of the Archies, also studied under voice teacher Kristin Linklater. Attending upcoming Harlan Hogan voice intensive in Seattle. I would like to add learning about voice overs is an ongoing pursuit that never ends for me.
