Elaine knows her craft!
Now in her senior years but still possessing terrific energy and good health, Voice Over seemed the perfect avenue to apply Elaine's talent. Her voice is warm and mature with a bit of gravel, though she is able to raise her pitch to sound somewhat younger and can change it entirely for child-like effects. She loves doing accents (British, cockney, Brooklyn, Southern, Tennessean, Scotch, Irish, Mexican-Spanish, German, and "general European") and embraces wacky characters.
Her years of research as the author of 18 books have afforded Elaine a superb command of the English language. She can handle technical, scientific, and medical terms with ease.
She lives in Culver City, where she walks her five-pound chihuahua mix. Obi (the Jedi House elf) daily for a couple of miles. Obi also enjoys sunning while Elaine does laps in her pool.
