About Elizabeth
Now based in Brisbane, I am originally from the UK. I have travelled a lot over the years, including 5 years teaching in West Africa and working and raising a family in New Zealand. My natural accent though, is still unmistakably from the UK. Since studying speech and Drama at High school, my love of voice work and performance now spans more than 50 years, performing in countless stage productions, I am no stranger to creating characters, very versatile and very good at taking directions. On moving to Australia 6 years ago from New Zealand, where I studied part-time toward a BA in Theatre and Film, I have toured professionally on stage, was cast in a TV comedy pilot, attended Film acting workshops and worked as an extra in film and TV.
I also have a Computer Science degree, and alongside my passion for acting I have spent 30 years working in a corporate environment. With great presentation, communication and teaching skills as an IT Training consultant, I am very adaptable in my delivery style, making any subject interesting and enjoyable to listen to, for people from all walks of life. I would be perfect for Corporate training videos, e-learning and documentaries.
Also, a mother with 3 adult children and now several grandchildren, reading storybooks and bringing storybook characters to life has always been a joy, and comes naturally to me.
