I started my voiceover career in Los Angeles recording people's voicemail messages - they all wanted the Scottish brogue (and occasionally they wanted 00-sheven himself, Sean Connery). I graduated to spec commercials for Audi, Jockey, Direct TV and recently a national TV and radio campaign for Tilted Kilt (Scottish theme bar).
As a singer, I sang 7 out of 10 songs on the Tiny Oaks 'Sing Along with Me' CD, written and directed by 2 times Oscar winning composer Richard Sherman (It's a Small World, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh) and as an actress, voiced the lead character Amanda Acorn. Amanda is a 7 year old American Acorn living in the Tiny Oaks tree and is now an educational tool used in the Montessori schools across the USA. Amanda has performed in CD, DVD and appears in a collection of children's books.
