- Experience, training, and equipmentI fell in love with voiceover work in college speech classes, but took a long detour before I came back to it. Now I'm back where I belong! I've given lots of speeches and presentations and recorded them for later use. I've taken serious voice coaching sessions from Cammie Winston, improv classes, and workshops to be better able to give dimension and life to a client's words. I like to keep things simple. I record on my iPad using WavePad and an Apogee Mic in a soundproof environment, then transfer my recording to my desktop computer, put on my Sony headphones and edit using Audacity. I can easily translate my tracks to MP3 recordings and email them to a client. I have worked with many different personalities and take direction well. I'm a natural-born problem solver so when handed a script, I can analyze the text and work with clients to meet their needs.
