About Elizabeth
(she/her)From the moment I could read, it was all I ever did. And I was singing (and talking incessantly) long before I could read. Professionally combining my love of books with my 11 years of vocal training and theater experience (notably a production of The Winter's Tale put on by CalTech students and set in Japan) has been a bit of a homecoming.
I graduated from Beloit College in 2013 with a BA in Literary Studies and then took a left turn into food writing, receiving my MA from NYU's Food Studies program in 2016. My writing has appeared in Forbes, Vice, Food & Wine, Eater, and Literary Hub, among other publications.
My love for the written word and my theatrical background have culminated in serious training to become a professional audiobook narrator specializing in engaging narration and believable characters.
I'm a particular fan of fantasy, young-adult literature, and science fiction projects with a snarky edge. That said, if you like my sound and energy, I'm extremely versatile in all genres. Let me help bring your story to life.
I am also a board member of Autistic Voiceover Artists, a nonprofit that supports voice actors on the autism spectrum.
