Hello! I’m Elaine, and I am a New York based, full-time voice actor. My Studiobricks broadcast quality home studio is equipped with a Sennheiser 416 MKH mic, a Neumann TLM 103 mic, an SSL2+ interface, and remote capabilities for live-directed sessions, including Source Connect, Zoom, and Skype. By hiring me, you'll be working with a professional who excels at communication, direction-taking, and turnaround time.
The qualities that my voice will bring to your project are intelligence, kindness, empathy, trustworthiness and relatability. My voice has been described as warm, engaging, helpful, knowledgeable, articulate, genuine, reassuring, kind, smooth, clear, empowering and also calming. My performances can range from conversational and casual to instructional and authoritative as I strive to provide a listening experience that is truly all-encompassing to vast audiences.
I’m a native New Yorker who graduated from Trinity College in Hartford where I first discovered my love of critical reading and textual analysis, skills which come into play with each script I encounter. Additionally, as a pianist, I approach every script as though it were a piece of music, paying attention to the natural phrasing, dynamics, and pacing of the language.
I am proudest of my role as mother to two phenomenal young adults: Jack, who is a Talent Manager at 3Arts Entertainment, and actress/writer Sydney Judge. Last but not least is the fun fact that my husband Tim worked very closely with Al Pacino as his Executive Assistant for a period of 16 years during which time we witnessed every aspect of this extraordinary actor's masterful process, including a few acting tips that I utilize to this day.
