I have a news reporters voice. It is smooth and clear for viewers to get the information they are seeking from my report. I can also be warm, professional for presentations. I have not explored the true range of my voice, but having grown up without an accent I can get creative.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been a news journalist for more than 20 years. I was born and raised in Washington, DC. I spent 10 years in the south and now live in Los Angeles. I do news reports for local stations as well as a national network. I went to Boston University and transferred to the University of Maryland where I graduated. I have a dual degree in Public Relations and Journalism. My minor was Government and Politics. Over the two decades I have been in the news business I have had many voice coaches and news consultants help me with my voice. I have a Macbook Pro with Final Cut Express, but no independent microphone. That is on my list to buy once I get work. I have been in the news business for two decades. I have covered about every natural diaster that can strike the United States. I have also covered a wide variety of stories from shootings, to investigations, to wildfires, to features.
