Hello, I’m Sherry Dunlap, a professional voice over artist who has a genuine, warm and authentic vibe speaking life into your scripts. Everything is done in service to the client and what they are trying to accomplish. Commercials were the first type of voice over I ever recorded. I always knew that as a very young girl I wanted to do voice over, not knowing exactly what it was or how to go about it. Years later, I eventually attended a school for broadcasting in Baltimore. Not long after that I worked at an am-news and fm-rock radio station, as a receptionist, providing customer service, writing promos and making sure psa’s were good to put on the air. Afterwards, I went to work at a television station, timing on-air logs and putting commercials on the air. E-learning is the more technical side of voice over and the goal is to keep the copy entertaining, which can sometimes be dry to those who have the hear it for required training. The goal is to make sure that copy with complex information is engaging, interesting and keeping people awake. What is it like to work with me. I work effectively with producers, creative directors and other creative people. I do understand the challenges and pressures of production environments, that allows me to deliver exactly what you need, when you need it. My goal is to work with you and make sure that you get the professional audio you need. While also making sure that what you envisioned has been completed to your satisfaction.
