Have performed in a plethora nay a cornucopia of National, Local and US voice overs for both TV and radio. For a while I was one of the voice guys for a Future Shop TV campaign (that was a sweet gig I don't mind telling you), and also am currently one of the regular voices in Rogers Video radio commercials heard nationally.
I was a regular bison (yes the animal) for Manitoba Telecom...I really connected with that bison!
Nationally I have done McDonalds, Ford, A & W, Nova Scotia and Alberta Tourism.
I'm pretty darn good.
All self taught baby! I also spent a year at Radio Broadcasting and currently work as a copy writer and do fill in on air traffic and weather reports. And I am way too good looking to be in radio!
Behringer mic and mutli-track mixing board going into a PC running Adobe Audition 3.0. I have padding on the walls which stops me from hurting myself and effectively deadens room noise.
I use Reason 3.0 for music production with a Fender 12 string acoustic, Fender Strat, all bass and other instrumentation go through Reason and I am a competent singer.
As a copywriter, I have an instinct as to how a script should be read. I do take direction very well as one producer has told me I have a musical ear and can there for "hear" want the director wants. But in the absence of a director am able to give several different reads to choose from.
