Hello, I’m Duncan, a theater arts graduate from Fresno State University with a Bachelor's in acting. I have experience voice acting in podcasts, audio dramas, student films, and indie video productions.
My natural speaking voice has a young sound that is fit for coming-of-age characters, and disgruntled teenagers with a chip on their shoulder. I also have a higher voice range that is good for mad scientists, unstable, or wacky characters. My lower voice range is fit for wannabe tough guys and smooth talker type characters. My specialty is in comedy, especially in playing disgruntled characters, but I can perform dramatic characters as well.
My main form of training was through 4 years of acting classes/stage performances for the theatre. During my time in theatre I was taught how to make the greatest use of my voice, both in the literal sense of volume to reach the audience across the theatre, and in how to best portray the emotions my character is feeling in their heart.
I have formal training in animation, and commercial voice over by veteran actor, Vicki Lewis (“Finding Nemo”, “An Extremely Goofy Movie”, “Batman: the Brave and the Bold”) and producer, Philip G. Allen.
