Writing and VO work have been two passions ever since I was 13 years old. Working in these two fields has been a dream ever since. Writing stories stemmed from my love of playing with action figures, creating scenes and stories with ninjas, soldiers, and damsels in distress, while my love for impersonations and dialects came from a 7th grade class with a Scottish Science teacher named Mr. Oliphant. Impersonating Mr. O' was my calling card to class clown and a new found love for entertaining the masses. Finally, I could write stories that might not need a ninja or a soldier, rather just a voice or two or eventually 30.
After high school, I attended Ithaca College for film, then worked in the entertainment industry on various productions, taking classes at the Groundlings, Kalmenson & Kalmenson, as well as workshops with Carolyne Barry. At 25, I obtained my SAG card and worked as an actor for a few years both on and off-screen. however, staying true to my passion for writing, I wrote scripts and tv pilots, as well as a few commercials that I directed and produced. These commercials received high praise and lead me into the world of advertising.
Currently, I am a copywriter at an Advertising Agency in Culver City, CA.. While I happily create new campaigns and personas for well known clients, I look forward to getting more projects as a voice actor to make a 13 year old's dream become a reality.

As a copywriter, screen writer, novelist, and blogger, my skills far exceed that of an ordinary voice talent. Understanding language, words, and most importantly, punctuation, I have an edge on the competition. I can dissect a script immediately and find what the writer wants to say, what tone needs to be conveyed. Writing commercials for work gives me an idea about how to give a clean natural read on the first take and pitching to clients in a small room gives me the sensibility needed to perform well in the booth. reading comes easily to a writer, however, I am also great at taking direction, something that every writer SHOULD be accustomed to when writing for a client/someone else. At the end of the day, I trust my instincts, my experience, and my ability to deliver.
