- Experience, training, and equipmentMy voice work has been rather sporadic over the past 20 years, but enough to keep my chops up. I've worked at several local radio stations, and have done many local radio spots for restaurants, service companies and other businesses. When I was in college and a 20-something, I did a lot of shows and operas as a 'singer-actor-dancer' - so I have a lot of control over my instrument. I have a degree in both journalism and vocal performance, and have been working in public relations and advertising for the past 20 years, so I know the importance of selling YOUR product. I am a semi-pro singer as well (everything from Gregorian chant to Bluegrass). Right out of college, I worked in video production and radio. I am a communication professional, primarily copywriting for ads, presentations, reports and press releases. If you need help generating the copy to be read, I can help. Likewise, if you don't want my advice on copywriting, I'll be happy to keep my mouth shut - until it's time to speak!
