I started in the radio industry just out of high school and became a radio voice on commercials doing many radio voices on air. I soon had my own radio show on the weekends. I married and left my home town and immediately got a job working afternoon drive at a rock radio station in my new city. I moonlighted in clubs as a DJ and had lots of fun. We moved again and I did afternoon drive at a country station. I moved to Atlanta where I started doing voice-over work including voicemail ( voice mail ) greetings, on hold messages, messages for voicemail, and voice acting.. I fell in love with the industry and have since had extensive experience doing commercials, corporate training audio, web site audio, adult content audio (which I don't do anymore), radio interviews and other contract voice talent jobs. I have also written copy for a number of the commercials with my audio. My training has been completely hands on with lots of direction from top industry professionals. I now consider myself to be an outstanding voice over artist with talents in all areas of voiceover recordings. I am willing to produce and submit voiceover auditions for a number of types of projects involving voice services, voice over recordings, onhold messages, voice mail greetings, radio commercials, audio books, voice acting, and any other project that a voice seeker might need. I spent one year traveling and performing with the international musical group Up With People. We traveled extensively and stayed in homes with families all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This experience provided me with a well rounded insight into human behavior from which I have developed my ability to read people and develop character voices. In additional to my well rounded voice and presentation skills, I also have a very good singing voice. My range is generally mid-alto to mid-soprano. I am very good at singing jingles. I am a very good reader from a teleprompter or script and seldom make mistakes. My voice talent has provided me with opportunities to record many different types of voice over jobs as a voice actor and I have become a recognized voiceover talent and have completed a substantial amount of voiceover work. I am flexible and easy to work with and strive to do my best even on the most difficult projects.
