Today, there are more voiceover artists in the industry than ever, some new and old. What sets me apart from others is my unique baritone bass range. Individuals perfecting their craft in the Arts understand it's a continuous learning process with many elements such as wisdom, unity, communication, dedication, and a sense of Pride of opportunity.
I don't audition for every project nor accept every invitation extended to me. However, if it fits my style, personality, and ability to deliver beyond the client's expectations, it's done! So, if you're looking for a warm, motivating, energetic read with a hint of authority in the art of Voiceover, you're at the right profile.
My distinct sound originated from my vast experience, starting with the U.S. Army in 1981. My subsequent growth came in 2003 as a real estate agent, wherein I sold over 2.5 million in real property in the second year. In 2006, Kelley's Trucking, Inc. was formed as an over-the-road transportation company, expanding my engagement portfolio.
While in Canada in 2017, I had the opportunity to voice and train with Gene Evans Music and Annex Audio, where the journey in Voiceover began. Other individual classes were taken in Voiceover while obtaining my A.A.S. and a B.S. at the same time through Veterans Administration Chapter 31 and completing both by 2018. To enhance my training, I submitted my demo to J. Michael Collins Voiceover to study under him as a student and was accepted. I completed my year of training in Commercial and Promo reads in 2021, and here you can listen to my two professional demos produced by JMC and his team.
David is an African American talent with many elements, including education, experience, drive, equipment, training, and skill. However, the most critical part is the gift of multiple levels of business. So, if you're looking for a unique style, let my voice show you the way!
