In an average town, in an average part of the United States was born an average American male. The course of Derek “D” Lints’ life would chip away the average to expose the extraordinary. Through early tragedies in his life along with compassion and support in equal measures. He learned Sincerity, Integrity, and Honor. When The Towers fell, like so many others he found himself in a military recruitment office. The next ten years of D’s life were spent following, and then leading US Army soldiers in Iraq and back at home. He was blessed to experience cultures ranging from the far east to Europe while touching the far corners of his own country. Both the Army and the war gave D a commanding presence and voice to match. Becoming a husband and a father, however, managed to temper that voice into something warm and charming. His children’s teen years would, once again, bring back the Old Sergeant in D. Upon leaving the military D found himself excelling in sales. Repeatedly he was told he had a special voice, one to be used announcing, or voicing characters. D completed his college education with a degree in aviation and a minor in climate change and alternative energies. This lead him to become a professional helicopter pilot and flight instructor, once again using his voice combined with his talents to both instruct and communicate effectively in the air. Playing characters, changing his voice, and telling stories have always been a big part of D’s life. Being an avid audiobook listener as well as an author in his own right; not to mention having a strong background in public speaking, debate, and drama, the power of one’s voice has always been obvious to him. D is excited to be able to lend his power to your project. With a strong sense of Integrity and Honor, he will commit to your project and turn it around complete to your vision in your time frame.
