Voice Actor by Career. Voice Performer Brian Mathew Ligsay, started out as a deejay when he was just 16. He was first heard over COOL 106.7FM as DJ Big Brian. Went under the air name DJ Brian Mathews over DWRS and DWVM in Greenhills, and then served as the morning guy of DWKY K91FM. DJ Big Brian also aired over 91.5 ENERGYFM (which later became BIG RADIO). Ligsay is a professional audio engineer, a Voice Director and formerly the Marketing Director and Chief Operating Officer of CreatiVoices Productions, a company with a platoon of more than 500 Voice over talents at their disposal. He now owns and operates his own audio production company, the Mothership Recording Studios, OPC. He has done thousands of voiceover jobs for almost every conceivable VO work. Narrations, Live events, AVPs, the internet, original animation, gaming, multi-media, radio, telephonies, television dubbing, movie trailers and etc. Credited to his work in anime dubbing is his role in the series BECK: MONGOLIAN CHOP SQUAD, wherein he took 18 character roles in the show. He also dubbed the roles of Mike/Ohtori in Ursula’s Kiss, Chief Tanaka and Tony Gleck in 8 Man After, Mao Dante and Prof. Veil Zebbub in Demon Lord Dante, Hijikata Toshizou in Shura No toki, and many more.. He is the voice of Chairman Robert Kang and as the bestfriend of the lead, Brian in the koreanovela series: “Lovers” over ABS-CBN. Brian Ligsay is also a director, producer and writer for original content. He directed and voice casted 2 international animation films in Korea and India. He voice coaches both celebrity and TV personalities alike, including Mike Enriquez and Vicky Morales in 2006, for the first Filipino 3D game published abroad A year later he directed another game in Japan and now has 4 titles under SEGA CHINA/SEGA JAPAN including GOLDEN GUN, OPERATION GHOST and TRANSFORMERS: HUMAN ALLIANCE. He also went to become the voice director of 3 local animation films and movie trailers. As the voice behind LRTA-2 Purple Line, Brian was also featured in local TV shows “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” at GMA-7 and “GINTONG TINIG” over ABS-CBN. His passion for the craft is accounted for numerous radio guestings, TV appearances and university talks on Voice Acting. One of his best works was with ROSETTA STONE, INC. where he did key direction for the version 3 of their TAGALOG/FILIPINO Software. For 4 years, he was asked by Malacañang to be the official VO of three of the President’s show over RTVM. His latest audiobook is the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, which will made available nationwide. Brian is a proud Rotarian and is currently serving as the Director for Public Image of the Rotary Club of Rodriguez, District 3800. As an author of 2 books on voiceovers, Direk Brian loves to eat and cook desserts, while doing photography as a hobby.
