I have received compliments on my voice for years and have just recently thought about turning my gift into a career.
In my corporate career, I have Members say that they call sometimes just to hear my voice on my voice-mail.
One of my own family members stated that they didn't know that it was me speaking until I made a signification at the end. They thought that I was a purchased voice.
Educationally, I have done voice-over work for a local radio station for a commercial spot during my broadcasting studies 18 years ago. I was also a radio personality for the Kansas City Missouri School District for 4 years (1991-1995) and received an "Excellence in Broadcasting" award.
B.A., Major: Mass-Media, Minor: Speech Communication, Washburn University (06/1999)
High School Diploma, Emphasis: Broadcasting, Westport Business Technology/Communication (06/1995)
Honestly, I am just the voice. I am not an engineer, however, I am willing to travel where ever the client needs me too travel or I can go to a local studio.
The most important thing that I would like my potential clients to know is that I am very adaptable and take direction very well. I take ownership of my performance and make myself accountable for producing quality work and fulfilling the needs of my clients.
