About Desi

Since receiving my BA in Drama from top liberal arts school Davidson College, I've led an unconventional, diverse career as an actor, performer, and voiceover artist. I received further education at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC (affectionately known as "Comedy Grad School"). My work as a celebrity impressionist is a testament to my ability to easily diagnose the unique features of any voice – this is my superpower as a vocal chameleon. As a highly skilled storyteller, my comedy experience gives me an edge over other VO artists, guaranteeing subtle irony, funny moments, and literal punchlines will always land.
Highlights:
• Featured character performer in Clown Parade, a podcast produced by Will Ferrell, Bowen Yang, and Matt Rogers—showcasing my range of voices and characters over a 4-episode arc that I completely wrote and performed solo.
• Commercially repped by Ingber & Associates, I have extensive commercial experience with brands including Stella Artois, Campbell's Soup, New York Lottery, North Carolina Lottery, 3M Command Strips, Atlantic Broadband, and Coors Light. • Video game voiceover experience as a featured character in Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption II.
• Education and experience in Commedia Dell'Arte, an Italian clowning art form credited as being the fountainhead of modern improv and sketch comedy. This journey includes studying at The Accademia Dell'Arte in Arezzo, Tuscany and performing Off-Broadway in Moliere's "Scapin."
