About Derek
I'm a bit of a mimmic. I can imitate most every voice I hear. Practice is necessary for new people, of course. I can make it deep and warm for narrations, soft & sexy, professional, old-type TV commercial, or news anchor broadcast-ish. Can mimmic from very young to very old.
My native voice is proper English; mainly midwesterner, but can copy southern also. Able to copy an Indian accent, as well as some Scottish. British and Aussie voices need some work, but I can caricature them.

- Experience, training, and equipmentSupplied multiple sound bites for video game to be released fall 2006. Natural talent. Self taught, no training at this point yet. Was in theatre in HS. Volunteer at the YMCA to read books aloud to children, and get great responses from them when I use my various voices. I also used to prank call quite a bit in college and afterwards. No one ever knew it was me. :) Professionally, I am a Civil Engineer working for a national developer and general contractor.
