About Deon
Acting Apprentice at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL. He has appeared in King Hedley II (Stool Pigeon), Sing on Ms. Griot (Br’re Rabbit), Helena Barington’s Majesty (Prophet, Zacharias, Soldier), and A Night at the Cotton Club (Little Deon). He has served as the Company Manager & Sound Board Operator for Little Shop of Horrors, the Projectionist for In the Red and Brown Water as well as the Light Board Operator for Sugar Ray, costume construction and crew for Skeleton Crew, and From the Mississippi Delta all within the Essential Theatre. He has appeared in short films with FSU College of Motion Picture Arts (Scruffy Student, Guy) and the University of South Florida (Sams). He has appeared in The Exonerated (Delbert Tibbs) with Howard W. Blake Theatre Department, commercials for the University of South Florida Basketball Team and Student Health Services, as well as worked as crew and costumes for The Mathematics of Love, Sweet Charity, Fall and Spring Dance Concert, Antigone, and They Don’t Pay We Won’t Pay at USF Tampa School of Theatre and Dance.
