I come from a stage background, with an emphasis on character portrayals and comedic roles. My strengths on stage, in voice work, and in public speaking include my believability...the ability to get into the voice or role and make it mine. Because of this talent. Examples of my stage work include: "Sylvia" in "Stepping Out" (Comedic, cockney, deeper alto voice), "Mabel" in "The Pajama Game" (mid-50s voice, matter-of-fact, and exaggerated businesslike), "Little Becky Two-Shoes" in "Urinetown: The Musical" (angry 25-30, slight baby voice). I also have experience with public speaking both from Toastmasters, Inc. and as a former member of Business Networking International (BNI), which provided me ample experience with commercials and business promotions.
Toastmasters, International, Theater and self-study from Renaissance Festivals through stage performances. Theatrical and Screen Acting classes.
Besides being a talented public speaker, actor, I also work with website design, which gives me an edge in speaking for the web, as I know online sound-quality and capabilities, not to mention how motion may be affected by various uses of Flash, Quicktime, and other online video formats. I am also a writer (both content and technical), and an avid reader. This gives me an uncanny ability to cold-read with emotion and meaning.
