Dee's degrees in history and political science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and professional radio experience make her a perfect choice for documentaries or narration projects.
She earned an Associate degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting from Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, Illinois in 1983.
In 2008, she returned to school and finished an Associate in Arts degree at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois.
In 2013, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
Dee uses professional quality equipment in her home studio.
In addition to her radio career. . . Dee has been married for 33 years, raised two kids, taught Reading, History, Science, Speech, Communications and Bible classes at a private Christian school, and is a lover of Shetland Sheepdogs.
Music has also been a big part of Dee's life and radio career. Dee has written several songs and once wrote the words and music for a station jingle while working at a Southern Gospel radio station. She has led worship songs for church congregations and small group worship sessions with guitar and formed her own band, DMJ.
