ABOUT ME – I LOVE MAKING PEOPLE SMILE
I love making people smile. That truth has followed me my entire life, long before I ever stepped into a professional recording booth. As an only child, I was prone to bouts of loneliness and the occasional imaginary friend, and I quickly learned how powerful connection could be. A simple smile, a shared laugh, or a moment of quiet understanding felt like validation, belonging, and joy all wrapped into one. To this day, creating that emotional connection is at the heart of everything I do as a voice actor.
THEATRE ROOTS AND THE POWER OF STORY
I found my life’s calling when I found theatre. On stage, I learned how a voice could whisper an audience into anticipatory silence, lift them into uproarious laughter, or unite them in a shared emotional experience with just a few carefully chosen words. I performed in productions including Kiss Me Kate, Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, Three Sisters, and Jesus Christ Superstar, developing a deep respect for language, rhythm, and emotional truth. Those years trained my ear, sharpened my instincts, and cemented my love for storytelling in all its forms.
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
My passion for performance led me to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, followed by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Magna Cum Laude, from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I have continued to refine my craft through extensive voice over and acting training with industry leaders including Joan Baker, J. Michael Collins, Elaine Clark, Sally Clawson, Mary Lynn Wissner, David Rosenthal, Vicki Lewis, Claire Yarrington, Steven Reisberg, Marvin Greene, and many others. Training is not something I ever “finish”—it is a constant, evolving commitment.
FROM THE STAGE TO THE CORPORATE WORLD
And then came the bills. While my love of theatre never left me, I stepped into the corporate world after college and discovered a new arena where my communication skills could thrive. Over the course of more than a decade, I held senior leadership and training roles with AT&T, DHL Express, AMPEX, DJD & Associates, and other organizations. I worked as an Executive Presentation Manager, Global Sales Training Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and independent training consultant—learning firsthand how large organizations communicate, educate, persuade, and build trust with diverse audiences.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSINESS LEADERSHIP
I later became the owner and principal of my own agency, which was consistently ranked in the top 10 percent nationally for revenue growth and recognized for excellence in customer service. This entrepreneurial background gives me a deep understanding of branding, deadlines, decision-makers, and client expectations. As a voice actor, I don’t just deliver audio—I deliver solutions, reliability, and professionalism.
MOTHERHOOD, PATIENCE, AND RETURNING TO MY VOICE
Then came love, marriage, and three children spread across nine years and several very different baby carriages. Motherhood taught me patience, empathy, timing, and adaptability—skills that inform my work in profound ways. Watching my children grow reignited my desire to return fully to acting and voice over, using my voice to inform, inspire, and connect with people in meaningful ways.
VOICE OVER CAREER AND EARLY MOMENTUM
After putting in the hours and returning to fighting shape with focused voice over coaching at Voice One and beyond, I landed my first major corporate eLearning narration for the Jules, At Your Service app. Soon followed corporate, financial, and medical narration projects for Zuraw Financial Advisors, Respivant, and The Neonatal Institute at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital. That momentum never stopped—it accelerated.
