- Experience, training, and equipmentThe bulk of my voice work has been in live announcing - sporting events and conventions, including mc hosting. Sports include: Boxing, martial arts, football, soccer and basketball. Some commercial readings for McDonald's, Mile High Karate and Southern Almonds. Television infomercial Karate demonstration, teaching videos. College: I have master's degrees in education and medical microbiology with 28 years high school teaching experience. Education classes included: Multimedia in the Classroom and Electronic Communication. I am a fouth degree black belt in Moo Duk Kwan Karate with a master instructor rating. Voice Classes: Denver Center for the Performing Arts - Davida Bloom 1) Introduction to Voice Over 2) Advanced Voice Over Private Lessons - Norm Silver 1) Voice Over Marketing and Technique Music: Sing and play guitar. Personal computer. Outside access to full studio. As a public school teacher, martial arts instructor and sports referee, I have spent my entire adult life in voice communication. I have learned that the most effective form of verbal communication is not talking to or at your audience but rather, to bring them in to the subject. My goal is to leave my audience with the sense of, "Let's go down to Bill Smith Chevrolet." I was born in Europe, have traveled extensively and have lived in varied parts of the US and Mexico. I have developed an ear not just for dialects but for regional syntax, attitude and communication affect.
