David is a highly experienced British male voice-over, having worked consistently for over 30 years in broadcast, corporate and multi-media. He is "old school" only insofar that he works to the highest professional standards - otherwise he is an active embracer of change and new ways of working!
David currently freelances for UK network channels BBC Two and BBC Four TV, working in a "live" broadcast environment.
In 2013, he was the main male promo voice on national Classic Fm radio.
David's style embraces standard English nuanced to appeal to modern audiences. Vocally agile, he delivers reads from warm, light and frothy through to the sensitive and serious.
"My approach to voice production is one that is both confident and professional. I like to think my business dealings are transparent and honest and having been a producer myself, I respect and understand what is necessary from your perspective. Working at distance, mutual trust is imperative".

As a continuity announcer, David's was the first voice broadcast on Channel 5 and Carlton Select. For 12 years, since inception, up to 2002, his was the lead male voice on DISCOVERY CHANNEL UK. "In the UK, my voice was recognisable to viewers of national Channel 4 and digital channel More 4. In 2011, I was invited to join network BBC TV as a freelance announcer".
