If you have heard someone perfectly quote Eric Cartman from South Park or Homer Simpson in a bar or public place, that was probably me. If you thought you heard Kermit the Frog singing Rainbow Connection on the street, that was probably me. An angry Irishman, a loud Scotsman, perhaps a belligerent Italian-American or Russian? These are just the smallest ice chip tips of the iceberg of my vocal abilities. I've always done a myriad of voices from a very young age up until today, but mostly for the amusement of friends and family. Which is usually the case. My experience outside of doing it for the amusement of others is minimal. Through friends I did some character work for Heavy.com in the early '00's for their show "Behind the Music that Sucks", but that was it for paid experience. I have so much darn creative energy inside me waiting to burst out. Audition me, and you'll see! And you won't be let down. Through encouragement I took a continuing ed class at The School of Visual Arts; "The Art of the Voice" taught by Steve Harris. At the courses end run and told me I was exceptionally talented. Great praise indeed but not enough for me to figure out what to do next. More encouragement came from a couple of friends who make their living with their voices; former NY radio DJ Steve Craig and voice over actor Dennis Kelly (who helped me record my demo). With Dennis I did some practice recordings with commercial copy and he shortly encouraged me to get some commercial copy and come back to record a proper demo. And there we are.
