Former trained newsreader and announcer for National Broadcaster (CBC), voice-over and booth work for sports and entertainment programming, 20 year experience in commercial packaging, character and dialect work for radio spots, and animation both as a producer and talent. Trained at CBC Announcer school under George Rich (head of Broadcast Language), mentored with National News announcing staff with Judy Maddren, Peter Kent, Larry Palef, Fred Napoli and Alan McFee. Booth announcer for 'The National with Knowlton Nash', did local and national radio and television station IDs and program bumpers and stings. Media and presentation training with Jeff Ansell and Associates in both on and off-camera work. As a producer, have produced over 80 radio and 24 TV spots for regional and national broadcast primarily for clients in the financial and legal services and personal coaching fields. Have also produced a feature film listed in IMDB. On the program advisory committee for Sheridan College Advanced Film and Television Post-graduate Program. ART condenser and RODE shotgun mikes with Presonus Studio One mastering (with Rewire Melodyne) and Acoustica Mixcraft 6 for mixing and effects. I have been involved in the film and television industry for more than 25 years, and worked in the computer industry in Silicon Valley in the computer animation and visual effects business so am very good with technology-related subjects - particularly related to computers, telecommunications and media. I have worked with investment bankers, M&A firms and start-ups during funding rounds so I have a good grasp of those subjects. I have a degree in English Literature and Fine Art history and am knowledgeable about cultural subject matter. I specialize in social media and online video so am very comfortable in that area. I have been a speaker and presenter on technology in media at a number of industry conferences and panels. As an amateur musician I have toured England and sung in the Royal Chapel at Windsor Castle, and have lived and worked in London and Milan and can speak Italian and French. I am interested in science and the environment, and would welcome the opportunity to work with non-profits and charitable organizations or educational institutions.
