There have been many times where I've brought joy, laughter, fear, and occasionally annoyance to people with the power of my voice.
Educational podcasts and documentaries have been invaluable in my journey as a voice actor thus far. Aside from those, I was an active member of the Drama Club in my high school and spent most of my years there doing Choir and Swing Choir. In Swing Choir we performed for the community, various schools in and out of state, and many other venues. I also had the opportunity to attend Music in May at the Pacific University of Oregon State twice.
I have a simple USB AudioBox that has served me well over the years. I use a standard condenser mic for recording vocals and I aim to invest in a dynamic mic in the future. I generally use Logic Pro Studios for everything, and before that I used Mixcraft, Audacity, and even Guitar Pro. I record in small environments such as closets filled with plenty of cloth to help with background noise and use a standard pop filter and pencil to cut down on "P" pops and such. I am planning on building a small, soundproofed studio on my property as well.
I have a musical ear, which I've come to understand is very important in voice acting. I have valuable leadership skills, but can also take direction very well. I am a very adaptable person and I do exceedingly well at matching the energy and cadences of those around me.
