David Agranov was born in Riga, Latvia. By the time he was five (when he started to learn English) he had already been in Latvia, Russia, Austria, Italy, London, and finally Washington, D.C. The son of a linguist, he was constantly exposed to different languages. In the world of Voiceover, he is recognized as a specialist in accents and dialects, both domestic and foreign to American English.
Having worked in state of the art and historic studios from Sterling Sound and Smash Studios in New York to A&M Studios and PCB Productions in Los Angeles, he is in demand by producers and directors alike for his unique ability to deliver foreign language performances, as well as his voicing of virtually any accent of spoken English.
A member of Screen Actors Guild, Actor's Equity Association, American Federation of Television and Radio Artistes, and American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers; David's voice can be heard in places as variegated as Lufthansa Airlines airplanes, virtual tours in the Theatre Museum wing of London's Victoria & Albert Museum, to commercials for International House of Pancakes, World Market, Barilla Pasta, The Amazing Race, Adidas, Volvo, and Guitar Center.
Appearing in countless video games, both in Voiceover and Motion Capture performance, he has lead and featured roles in the highly anticipated new releases upcoming from the likes of Call of Duty as well as Ace Combat. His voice can be heard in dozens of other games such as Metal Gear Solid, Socom, Ultimate Alliance for Marvel Comics, The Watchmen for Warner Brothers, The Saboteur, and Drake's Fortune... to name a few.
Known for his meticulous ear and expertise, he is hired regularly for Voice Matching work, Teasers/Trailers, and Looping. Clients have included: Universal Studios, Sony, Canal Plus, Lionsgate, and Paramount Studios.
