About David
Of the 30 plus jobs I have booked as a voice over artist or voice over talent, 2/3rd of them have been announcer roles, but have varied, of course, depending on the needs of the client. I pride myself on making good adjustments in the booth and being able to change the timbre, tone and depth of my voice accordingly.
My vocal range goes from deep "announcery" to light and uptone and tempo to quiet, everyday conversational. I list those three by way of example, as I have recorded, in the past six months alone, jobs requiring each.
Additionally, I do the promo's for Bloomberg TV (cited below) and have a recurring character in the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I have also booked more "regular guy" scripts with more character reads in the past year.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have been doing voice overs since 2001 when I booked my first audition for the announcer role for America Online (a job I held until they gave the job to Sharon Stone. I'm good, but can't compete with her!). I am currently rep'd by Ann Wright Representation (212) 764-6770 and have also been sent out by Innovative Artists. Bookings in the last 10 months include: Cablevision - over 25 spots for Optimum Online, Optimum Voice and Optimum Homes. Bloomberg Television - all promo Marketing and Media - voice over for national awards show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles - recurring character in animated series (character called Torbin Zixx). Arris Apartment - High end real estate spot (conversational read) Advance Internet - 7 separate regional spots for Internet company in Northeast. Plastpro Fiberglass Doors - 3 separate spots for television campaign (announcer) Bank of Arizona - 4 spots for both TV and radio (conversational) Betonsports.com - high energy radio spots for online betting company. Did a character read of a southern football player. Wise Potato Chips - 2 spots for radio. Character read "regular joe" on the street. Vital Dent - for TV. A regular guy going to the dentist kind of read. Additionally I have done several industrials for the Deloitte & Touche, Samsung, Epi Pen and the Catholic Church. The uploaded reel is terribly out-of-date and I am looking to quickly update it. I was trained as an actor in Kenyon College's Dramatic program (undergrad) and studied under Stuart Dillon in New York City. I currently am a theatrical producer in New York City and have a background also in Public Relations and Advertising. I can do a wide range of character voices (and have been required to for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scripts that often have 3 or 4 lines assigned to random characters that must, of course, all sound very different). I am excellent with accents (especially Italian and French) and while not fluent in French have an excellent working knowledge of the language. Being a New Yorker it is almost impossible not to be well versed in the accents of the "streets." If you are looking for good Brooklyn, I got yer accent right heah...
