I have a deep (But not Barry White deep) voice that is suitable for many situations. It can be warm and friendly, smooth and sexy, or bold and authoritative. It just depends on the situation.

I have recorded spots for television commercials, radio commercials, short films, documentaries, and audio books. I have not had any formal training in voice over work, however I am an actor by profession and do a lot of theatrical work, and I also instruct several fitness classes. Both occupations have helped me develop a strong and commanding voice. I've been acting in film and theater for several years now and have had to use my voice in many different ways especially when on stage. I have also been teaching cardio kick boxing classes for several years and have learned to use my voice to grab people's attention, and occasionally to get people to shut-up when need be, and I do it WITHOUT using a microphone! After being told many, many times that I should start doing voice over work, I finally said "OK".
