I’m David Winter: your versatile British voice for Commercials, Narration, e-Learning, Games, and beyond.
Clients choose me for my deep, warm and friendly delivery. I’m adaptable across styles: classic announcer, conversational, corporate, character, and more. British is my signature—and native—accent, but I regularly voice American, Scottish, Australian, and other international accents.
Clients often say that I instinctively “get” what they’re after. I’m also a pro at using Reaper (the DAW), so you receive audio that’s clean, edit-ready, and easy to use. Alternatively, I can do the audio engineering and provide a full start-to-finish service, giving you broadcast-ready audio.
You’ll find me warm, friendly, and highly professional in all communication. I set clear expectations and follow through—qualities reflected in my client reviews. I’m proud to have received a Source Elements Diversity Scholarship (Neurodiversity & Physical Impairments).
I offer a wide accent range and character versatility. If you need a particular sound, I’ll deliver it if I can; if it isn’t possible, I’ll tell you honestly up front.
I record using Neumann TLM 102 and Sennheiser MKH416 microphones with a Motu M2 interface. I’m on SourceConnect (davidwinter), and I offer 24-hour turnaround on most projects. Full production, editing, and mastering are available.
