29 years in radio, starting at 19. Morning host WGAR Cleveland 1989-91, nominated for CMA Major Market Air Personality of the Year summer 1991. Co-owned KCDQ-FM Odessa Midland, TX from 1991-1996. I was Creative Services Director at Houston's Salem Radio Group from 2000-2007 (including 4 yr. stint from Brussels, Belgium, thank heavens for the web), and now I'm independent with home studio as I continue to chase after my wife's job transfers... :-)
I was working on a degree in radio/TV/film back in the early 1980s but I became too busy working in radio to finish learning how to work in radio.
Ironic, isn't it...?
AT4050 large diaphragm condenser mic w/preamp and optical compressor
Mac (Intel) w/Emu digital audio in/out firewire, running various audio and video software
Mackie 1402 console

Have done lots of independent production for industrial vids, radio and TV campaigns.
Sang in doo-wop group for several years, locally popular in west Texas. Lots of community theatre and musicals, including two stints as the plant in Little Shop of Horrors.
I was the first in the West Texas market to move to digital audio, long before radio and TV did it. I built a digital studio in my office at my radio station, computer based, way back in '92, and did some award winning production there.
