About Dan
I have a pretty wide voice range, but I naturally fall into a relaxed, friendly, relatable kind of read. It's very un-salesman and "regular guy". I generally read in a sincere, happy and fun style, while also being able to add a little attitude, depth, energy and excitement and/or sarcasm when necessary to spice it up. I'd say I have a very wide range and love doing all styles of reads.
On the opposite side of the spectrum though, I've done MANY harder sell reads too...I've done television promos for CNBC, VH1, Nickelodeon, MLB Network, ABC, CBS, CNN, Investigation Discovery, Starz and a lot more...Many skits for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Commercials for Verizon Wireless, Schwarzkopf, Meijer, Sinex...even documentaries. Alaska Mega Machines on Science Channel, Ultimate Tourist Scams on Equator HD, Bikins & Boardwalks on Travel Channel, HGTV's Outrageous Kitchens, Backyards, etc, Cast Confessions: The Facts of Life on BIO and more.
I'd say my voice has a natural resonance which isn't overbearing. I can do a deeper style and it doesn't sound incredibly throaty, if that makes sense. I think I'm pretty "easy to listen to", but my wife might disagree!
