I started doing voice over work at church, playing the voice of God in the Christmas and Easter plays. That carried over to high school plays and participating in tv studio classes. Now I am asked to be the Master of Ceremonies at local school functions, and twice a year I am the announcer at a local graduation for the Kane County Court programs.
Classes starting in TV/Studio from 2001-2005/participated in the National Association of Black Journalism to learn how to use my talent and network, Studied Broadcast communications at Northern Illinois (No degree obtained)
I have access to the studio, but have yet to study the workings and equipment. I do however know exactly where the mic is and how to turn it off and on. (I will definitely brush up on my equipment knowledge)
I have a knack of understanding what sounds good, and have done a lot of public speaking. I've had the pleasure of growing up with a school teacher in the household where pronounciation is important. Most jobs I've held is in the customer service field either interacting over the phone or face to face, and with that comes that professionalism.
