One year at my High School radio station, that's it, I'm not going to lie. However, I've been doing voices all of my life and now, I've decided to pursue this path, one that I should have pursued many, many years ago.
I have been a radio listener for a long, long time and I've heard countless radio spots that were so dreadfull I can't believe they actually allow them to air. The same can be said for the, sometimes horrible, voice over work that can be heard on many video games. I know I can do better than a lot of what I hear.
My training in the Voice Over world is rather slim, I worked at my High School radio station for about a year and really enjoyed doing characters for different bits.
Over the years, I have done a few small projects for friends, but not emersed myself fully into voice work...until now.
I am also a working musician in the Chicago land area and, have been for close to twenty years.
My current studio set-up consists of Pro Tools LE, run on a Mac G5. I have a small, but effective microphone locker as well as several pieces of outboard gear for compresion, EQ, effects ect.
I have been a Pro Tools user for three years, and hold a basic operator's certificate.
I am very efficiant, and detail oriented and strive to perform at the highest level at all times. I may be new to the world of Voice Over work, but I confident in my abilities.
