I have done multiple commercials (television, radio, business presentations) for use primarily in Connecticut/New England.
My favorite story, however, comes from doing a voiceover for an adult shop located in Waterbury, Connecticut. The studio in which we were recording was a multi-purpose business building, and as I was recording, I heard through the walls, "Dude! Dude! You gotta hear this! There's this girl! And you gotta hear what she's talking about!" When we were finished recording and I was leaving the studio, I opened the door to find four guys with their ears pressed to the wall.
I, in my gym clothes and glasses, looked at them, whispered "Hi," and left.
My second favorite story was about a puppy socialization program -- I was quite grateful I'd warmed up with "Not Getting Married" from Stephen Sondheim's "Company"... it was a tongue-twister and a half! But the best part was that I'd accomplished it in one take -- the director gave me a huge hug, saying "Daina brought her A-game today!"
