I became a SAG-AFTRA voice actress in 1993 - I'm now retired/disabled and on honorary withdrawal from the unions, so I do NO BROADCAST WORK - inside/industrial only. And I don't have to work - I WANT to work, so I'm a bit picky with what I accept and when. But once I do, the turnaround time is very fast because I have excellent cold-reading skills.
I've done almost 30 Science Screen Reports for Kids, 100's of local spots, and some regional and national commercials. I'm the "inside" voice for many companies' on hold messaging, auto attendants and call centers (hundreds of TEAM medical facilities and nurse call lines, and "Sophie" for MD LIVE, even the old psychic hotlines), as well as complicated voice menus, including 1-800-PET-MEDS. You can hear my voice on many overheads in model homes, in online training programs for Ryder Systems, on Real Estate Training CDs/DVDs, on the overheads at Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. I also was the afternoon drive deejay for WTMI Classical 93.1FM.
I can speak very quickly and clearly for tags and legal ("tax, tag, and title not included"), and I have a large vocabulary - technical terms don't phase me and I am familiar with a great deal of medical terminology. I've also voiced sexy spots, including narrating erotic films for the sight impaired.
Professional actress since age 16, last jobs were co-starring and featured roles Off Broadway (www.CyrillaBaer.com). Trained in VO with Connie Zimet and Dick Orkin. I have worked hard over decades to earn a professional reputation.
Running Audacity on a MacBook with a Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone and light sound dampening. I clean errors and send files by email or Dropbox in MP3 format. I clean for errors and if I can't get a guide for a pronunciation, I'll wild a few choices in the clear for you to edit yourself.
