Since 1994, I've been performing voices for clients with hugely successful results. I've won awards for my voice work, and am often requested by advertising agents, film producers, and animators. In addition, my stage experience has lent itself directly to voicework--especially my improv work.
I was blessed with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University in 1975. I then set out to do anything but teaching and eventually landed in theater.
I decided I must need to know how to become a character so I began private acting lessons with Ed Claudio in Sacramento and Shari Carlson in San Francisco, which led to much theater experience, voice overs and on camera commercial work. Workshops from Taylor Korobow at the Voice Factory and CW Wolf in San Francisco expanded my skills farther. I have done animation work and commercial characters ranging from a granny to a dingy flight attendant. Currently I teach children's theater and perform with the spoken word ensemble, StoryVoices.

I have a very long pre-voice-over resume which includes everything from changing out the master cylinder in a Mercedes to training volunteers at Recording for the Blind. I have been that substitute teacher the kids played tricks on and expressed condolences when my child did something similar. I sing and perform spoken word material with a professional performance group, StoryVoices, which has received national acclaim.
