I am just getting started in voice overs and am loving every moment. I have been told for years that I have a nice voice. I started broadcasting school in January and at this point in my career I am willing to try anything it takes to get my name out there.
I have a music education degree and am currently in school for broadcasting. I have worked with cool edit (audio editing) for 8 years, ran live sound for my church (Grace Point in Wichita Kansas) for 2 years. I can also run Adobe Audition, Garage Band, and Final Cut. I thrive in editing, so I am pretty good at all production aspects. I am a perfectionist at everything that is audio, so I will never send you something that I didn't give 100% and am always willing to listen to constructive advice.
As far as my music background goes, I have been 1st trumpet for most of my life. I can play a little bit of piano, guitar, and other brass instruments with the exception of Tuba. I was also in Choir through out high school and college and really enjoy singing.
I have access to a radio studio through school which consists of Adobe Audition, and a condenser microphone.
I was a music teacher for 2 years, so I can sound caring and motherly. I have also done a total of 8 years of phone based customer service, so I can also sound professional. Outside of work, I am a pretty sarcastic person who likes to joke and have fun.
