Cory has voiced for regional radio spots, TV narration, documentaries, and commercials. He's played characters, done the "straight-man" thing, and provided narration for clients including National Geographic, KRDO TV, Patterson Plumbing, and the City/County Library District of Pueblo.
There's no project too big or too small.
Cory has worked in the regional theatre for 15 years, and has been onstage in over 100 productions playing a broad variety of characters, from the serious to the insane.
As a musical theatre performer, he's known for playing the funny guys, like Max Bialystock (THE PRODUCERS), Nathan Detroit (GUYS AND DOLLS) and Seymour Krelborn (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS).
He got interested in performing through high school Speech and Debate way back in the dark ages of the early 90's, and attended the University of Northern Colorado as a Theatre/Acting major. He went on to start his own theatre company where he directed, acted, and did sound design for dozens of shows before breaking out into the professional regional theatre circuit.
Cory wanted to get into voice over, so he did a stint with local college radio - Colorado State University Pueblo - and started working in local and regional spots, including radio commercials, a few documentaries (providing both character and narration), some TV narration for regional spots, and plenty of online work.
He currently works as a freelance actor/director, and he writes, directs, and performs dozens of characters with the WYNOT Radio Theatre Show, a parody group he founded that spoofs Old Time Radio shows live on stage.
