From a young age I have always practiced various accents to provide humour and entertainment for my friends and family members, I have always had encouraging feedback.
My parents would often record me so that I could become comfortable and confident at using my voice as an instrument.
At the age of 11 I participated in two stage productions, the first was for my drama class at St. Josephs Primary School, I was required to memorize and deliver the script and character of Violet Bauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The second was for Stage Coach, I participated in the production of Abba: The Musical.
I am trained in recording my vox for both advertisement and musical purposes. I have completed a voice clip for codesouthfm and various songs that I have written, recorded and performed live.
I have also completed a two year course with Access to Music where I studied Music Performance and Production.
Headphones, compressor microphones, pop filters, microphone stands, various musical instruments, shock mounts, de-essers, outboards, studio monitors, etc.
I have good clarity when tested on articulation and enunciation and I am consistent with my volume, energy, pace and characterization. I make the effort to always be well connected and enthusiastic toward my given script so as to convince my audience. Control and confidence are my strongest qualities.
I have a great experience with people of all ages, I am often told I am bubbly, fun and easy in conversation. My employers (of various jobs) have stated that I adapt very easily to new experiences/challenges and I am very hard working.
