My only voice recording experience took place about 38 years ago when I worked as a copy boy at NBC in New York City. I was hired to record daily race-by-race horse racing results for a "1-900" telephone result line. The owner of the enterprise, Stuart Scheftel liked my voice and gave me the position. I have also recorded the entire office directory/messages for a real estate company I owned.
No formal training other than working with talent at NBC TV and radio in my college days. I majored in communications but got married at 22 and went into the real estate business.
None.
I have owned my own real estate company and currently close real estate deals as an independent contractor hired by attorneys and title companies. Have always been dying to break into the voice-over field and constantly told by people that I should earn my living by using my voice.
