While I have no official voice over credentials, I have recorded countless amounts of vocal tracks for bands and recording artists -- including my own music. I've worked with microphones and home studios, as well as professional studio spaces, for the better part of 10 years. I've also been a producer for other vocalists, teaching them about diction and microphone technique.
I think this blended with my improv/acting abilities makes me a great option for any voice over project.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree with a focus in Music Technology (Lagrange College '04). In school I took vocal technique and diction classes and was apart of the Lagrange College choir.
Since then, I've worked in studios as a recording artist and as an engineer. I've taken microphone technique workshops from Jason Kingsland (Kings Music Group). I currently study Improv, with emphasis on character choices and dialects/accents. Also, I'm enrolled in acting classes at Drama, Inc here in Atlanta.
I have unlimited access to a professional recording studio in Atlanta, GA. However, I also have a little home set up which is my immediate go to for projects. For personal use, I have Pro Tools 10 and Logic 8 for recording. I have an Alesis Multi-mix 8 mixer, but I also have a Avid M-box. Microphone-wise, I have several options: Rode NT-1, Audio-Technica AT2020, MXL V67, Blue Bluebird and many other options. I also have the entire Waves Mercury bundle for pretty much endless plug-in manipulations. I have a degree in Music (Technology focus), and I'm very familiar with the equipment needed for voice over work.
Throughout my career I've delved into many industries:
Played baseball through college, and coached at High School level.
Played football in high school.
Classically trained guitarist (as well as proficient in many other forms)
Trained vocalist.
I've worked in middle management for a few companies.
I've worked in food-service and retail.
I've worked in the film industry as an actor and as a stand-in.
I'm very good with technology (and gadgets).
I use Apple products.
