About Christopher

He is a professional, male voice actor who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area by way of Chicago, maintaining his neutral, Midwestern accent. Chris received his degree in Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. For nearly two decades, he has been employed in the area of biological research - specifically, cancer and genomics. His familiarity with medical journals and research papers allows him to easily pronounce those difficult scientific terms.
Chris received his vocal training and technique coaching from Such A Voice. It has provided him the tools to express his creativity through voiceovers. His voice has been described as friendly, youthful, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and down-to-earth.

I record from my professional home studio. It is complete with Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3 audio interface preamp, CM25 MkIII condenser microphone, pop filter, and HP60 MkIII headphones. I use Audacity to edit my reads to provide a crisp, clean voice to any project. I'm also available for live directed sessions through Source-Connect.
