Christi began her voiceover career by working in radio and voicing local & regional radio ads. She then moved into TV and Film becoming a 9 time Telly Award and Local Emmy winning producer - all while staying connected to voiceover. Since those early days, she has expanded to doing TV and radio commercials, automotive advertising, eLearning and company training modules, corporate narrations, political campaigns, on hold advertising and phone systems. Christi Bowen received her Bachelors degree in Broadcast Production/Operations from the University of Florida. While there she began her career as a DJ at Rock 104. She also worked as the Assistant Production Director and wrote, produced and voiced many local & regional radio commercials. This is where the love of the Voice Over began. Turning her attention to voiceover full time in 2011, Christi has developed a roster of clients all over the world and on many types of projects. Christi has taken a classes with Hugh P Klitzke, Dave Walsh, Nancy Wolfson - she's a Braintracks graduate, Joyce Castellanos, Cliff Zellman, Tom Pinto, Dave Fennoy, Joe Cipriano, Melissa Disney, Rodney Saulsberry, Harlan Hogan and more. Medical narration is quickly growing to be one of Christi's top skills. She may not be a doctor but she sounds like one! Christi is also a mom, so she knows the "Mom voice" that can be needed at times...supposedly, this also works well on spouses and audiences.
